Solar energy will be used at Euro-2012

The working premises for journalists who will cover Euro-2012 from Charkiv will be equipped with solar panels. A special farm that produces appropriate energy and completely provides activity of the object will be installed on the roof of the media center.

M. Pashkevych: Deregulation in the field of energy efficiency activates implementation of energy-efficient projects

It was reported by the Head of State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine Mykola Pashkevych, speaking at the meeting of the Trade-Club in Ukraine.
"Deregulation in the field of energy efficiency, cancellation of control and supervisory functions and paid services, elimination of corruption factors allowed us to cooperate with business. It activates implementation of energy-efficient projects and facilitates mobilization of investments", noticed M. Pashkevych.
The Head of Agency also mentioned that the department implements European principles of energy efficiency policy realization. For instance, the reformation of rating system was carried out.

A solar power plant worth €100 million will be built in the Dnipropetrovs’k region
Next year the group of companies Ekotechnik Praha will start building the first solar power station in Dnipropetrovshchyna – in the Shyrokivs'kyy district. It was reported by the press service of Dnipropetrovs'k regional state administration.
